Nick opened Fort Collins Collision Repair in 1995 after working on cars since he was a teenager. His love of cars started at a young age with a mother who was a racecar driver during his childhood. He started working on cars because he wanted to have access to a nice car that he wasn’t able to afford otherwise. In 1984, he moved to sunny Colorado from Chicago to attend CSU where he received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Sciences. There he also met his wife of 30+ years, Mary. He later spent 6 years as an auto body teacher at Aims Community College until he got to the opportunity to open the shop doors. Today, he still has the same passion for the muscle cars of his youth. In his free time he enjoys golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, spending time with his wife and three grown children, grandchildren, as well as spoiling the “shop mascot,” Vito.
